Agglomeration Modelling 

Development of an Economic Impacts Model for the Auckland area to measure the relationships between transport accessibility and levels of economic activity.  The model is based on data from Census results and the Auckland regional transport model and so is able to reflect local conditions. The approach has been used to assess the wider economic benefits from a variety of transport proposalsincluding both public trasport and highway schemes as well as more general assessments of teh impacts of different types of uban structures schemes.  Clients have included:-

• Auckland Regional Council,
• Auckland City Council,
• Manukau City Council  
• Rodney District Council and
• Transit New Zealand, now part of teh New Zaland Transport Agency.
